    The Thorpe Willoughby football team travelled to Kellington on Friday 29th March, and after an eventful match, the away team (Thorpe Willoughby) came out on top with a 5 - 2 win over their rivals. Well done team, lets keep this winning streak going!

  • Marrick Priory Residential - We arrived!

    The children and staff have arrived safely at Marrick Priory. They were greeted by the centre's staff/instructors and enjoyed a fun afternoon filled with team building activities. More to come!

  • World Book Day 2019

    The children and the staff came to school dressed as their all time favourite characters from their all time favourite books to celebrate World Book Day 2019. I cannot tell who had more fun, the children or the staff! Many thanks to the parents and carers that helped to create the children's amazing costumes.

  • Transforming Thorpe Willoughby

    During the half term holidays, members of staff, parents and governors set a day aside to freshen up the school ready for when the children returned. The day was spent painting the main entrance and the perimeter fence. A huge thank you to all the individuals who gave up their free time to improve the school. 

  • We had snow!

    It may have been for a short time, but we finally got to see some of the white stuff today. The children enjoyed a very brief play as the snow fell this morning. Will we see any more over the weekend?

  • Beauty and the Beast

    The children had a very special theatre company to bring all the delights of the pantomime season to Thorpe Willoughby. There were boo's, there were hisses and there were plenty of laughs. A big thank you to M&M Theatrical Productions for putting on an amazing show, for our eyes only. In addition, a big thank you to the parents who contributed to make this show possible. 

  • Goodbye Mrs Brown

    After 13 years as the Headteacher at Thorpe Willoughby Primary School, Mrs Brown is leaving. She has not only shaped, moulded, and created many brilliant, young minds but she has made the school what it is today. The staff and the children would like to wish her the best of luck for whatever the future has in store for her and please do keep in touch! Goodbye and good luck! 

  • Goodbye Mrs Lamb

    After 29 years at Thorpe Willoughby Primary School. 29!! Mrs Lamb is retiring from teaching. She has been a huge part of Thorpe Willoughby and has taught many children, and even gone on to teach their children! She will be sorely missed by both staff and children. We wish her all the best of luck for future endeavours.
