  • Infants Christmas Party

    The annual Christmas party went down a treat with both children and staff. The children played games, ate lots of food and even had a visit from THE Father Christmas. Thank you to all the parents who contributed food to the party.
  • Christmas Performances

    The children and staff have been hard at work putting together this years Christmas performances. Every year the professionalism and quality of each performance gets better and better. This year upper Key Stage 2 performed the Charles Dickens Classic, A Christmas Carol, Lower Key Stage 2 performed A Magical Christmas Jigsaw and Key Stage 1 and Early Years performed A Wriggly Nativity. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for working hard at creating such wonderful sets, costumes and props; the parents for being cooperative as ever; and finally, the children, who we can all agree, acted their socks off and sung their hearts out. Merry Christmas everybody.

  • Christmas Dinner

    All the children and staff enjoyed a very festive dinner cooked up by school chef Mrs. Braid. To make ourselves feel extra festive, Christmas jumpers were encouraged, and even baubles if your name was Mr. Watson.

  • Christmas Disco

    Yesterday evening saw the children busting their best dance moves for a very festive disco. A special guest dressed in a red suit may have made an appearance to add presents to his long list. The photo below was taken as things were being prepared for a night of fun.
  • Chatter Trail

    The “Stay and Play” session was a great a success, below are a few photographs, taken on the day, of the reception children playing and chatting with their Parents and Carers. The chatterboxes are now being taken home each weekend by different children in the Reception classes. Each box contains a surprise and something simple to do together. It will also stimulate talking together. We would love to see photographs of the children engaging with the activities in the chatterboxes. Please e-mail them into school.

     

  • Children in Need

    The children have looked amazing as they celebrated Children in Need with a non-uniform day. Even Mrs Braid took part by baking some delicious Pudsey Bear biscuits. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped contribute to this brilliant cause. We raised an amazing £217.47

  • Lest We Forget

    Upper Key Stage 2 all took part in a rememberance service held at St. Francis church. The service was conducted by Rev. Pete who introduced and spoke about how the children have been remembering the fallen soldiers from history. Thank you to all the parents who walked with the children and attended the service. A big well done to the children, what a fitting way to honour the centenary.
  • Here comes the bride

    In key stage one, the children have been looking at 'using materials' as part of their science work.These girls were inspired by a photograph to create a paper wedding dress. They worked incredibly hard using their artistic and design skills creatively.
