Eco-council
Our Eco-Council
Our eco-council have been working hard to make improvements to our environment. This year we have reduced our use of single use plastics and will no longer be using glitter or single use plastic cups in school. We have also reduced our waste through composting, recycling and organising our book swap and uniform takeaway. We have planted trees, taken part in the RSPB birdwatch and taken part in Walk to School Week - we have been very busy! Please see our action plan for further details of our achievements.

World Ocean Day
Monday 8th June 2026 is World Ocean Day. In school, we have been thinking about plastic pollution and how we can reduce our use of single use plastics. If you are interested in the oceans, please see the ocean guide below for more information.

Climate Action Plan
We have developed a whole school action plan to ensure a structured approach to sustainability. As part of our approach, we recognise the importance of involving pupils. By involving pupils and working with our eco-council we aim to:
- Develop sustainability across school.
- Inspire enthusiasm and create positive change.
- Give our pupils a sense of agency and pride.
- Engage our wider community.
