Eco-council

Our eco-council have been working hard to make improvements to our environment. This year we have worked on improving biodiversity as well as reducing the amount of water and electricity we use. Read on to find out about some of the things we have done and how you can get involved with writing our eco-code.

Eco-Code

Have your say

Our eco-council are currently writing an eco-code for our school. Our eco-code will be our mission statement and it is important that it represents our school's commitment to improving our environment and making a difference.  We would love to hear your suggestions. Please complete this short survey with your child/children before the end of January. We will be finalising our eco-code this half term and will publish it on our website when it is completed.

Thank you for your support!

Climate Action Plan

We have developed a whole school action plan to ensure a structured approach to sustainability. As part of our approach, we recognise the importance of involving pupils. By involving pupils and working with our eco-council we aim to:

  • Develop sustainability across school.
  • Inspire enthusiasm and create positive change.
  • Give our pupils a sense of agency and pride.
  • Engage our wider community.
