    We have been put through our paces this afternoon with athlete Amy Hilliard. We are feeling motivated and inspired to achieve our goals. Thank you Amy and good luck at the Commonwealth Games in 2022 - we’ll be watching.

  • (Mini) Shelter Building

    Years 5 and 6 have been inspired by our class novel The Explorer by Katherine Rundell. They have been building mini shelters just like Fred, Con, Lila and Max. Not quite the Amazon Rainforest but lots of fun and fabulous team building skills in the process.

  • Back in Time for School

    We have gone back in time to the Victorian era in Years 5&6. It’s a day of the three R’s (reading, writing and arithmetic) followed by PE drills and singing. Hopefully nobody will be given the cane.

  • A visit from Sergeant Dulson

    To support their learning about crime and punishment, UKS2 children had a visit from Sergeant Dulson this afternoon to talk about modern day policing. The children asked lots of probing questions and made comparisons with Victorian ‘bobbies’.

  • CRIME SCENE!!

    FUN ALERT! We staged a break-in this morning to provide the Year 5&6 children with an engaging and ‘real’ story to write about in their news reports. Their investigative skills were fantastic and we’re now raring to go with our newspapers. After the reports, the children were told that it was indeed staged.
