A hedgehog in the playground!

On Wednesday the reception children found a hedgehog in our playground. There was great excitement as they watched it walk around the play equipment.  They wanted to know what hedgehogs eat. So we used the internet to search for more information about hedgehogs.

They gathered sticks from the playground and decided to use these to make a hedgehog model. In the afternoon the children asked for some clay and then made clay hedgehogs.

Harvest Festival

On Wednesday 24th October Key Stage 1 and EYFS children walked to church to celebrate harvest. Year 2 children led the worship and each class showed some of the work they had done about harvest and God's world. It was lovely to see so many parents and grandparents joining us on our walk and the celebration in church.
